Our journey, our family, was built on an idea. What started with hard work, perseverance, and a drive to create something more began with a simple idea in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, where our founder was born, raised, and trained. With a lifetime of experience in the trade, he has mastered every aspect of the craft: from hand-drawing and CAD design to casting, setting, and final polishing.
With the world making huge shifts and the continued innovation of technology, what came next seemed like an unlikely but also necessary step that began our evolution, which is where our online journey began. A decision to create our very own eBay store, Jewellery4less0121, and the intention to sell where we can, our unique handcrafted jewellery creations online, and further bridge the gap between what we create and those we hoped they would connect with.
What we didn't anticipate was just how well and how many people our pieces would connect with. After four successful years, we decided to expand and begin selling our handcrafted pieces on Etsy. This seemed like a logical step for us, with Etsy positioning itself as a marketplace built around everyday people selling unique, handmade creations. Since then, our small project (with a big dream, of course!) has moved from strength to strength. We’ve since created and helped thousands of customers find their perfect piece—each made with care, love, and attention to detail.
We never saw it coming, but our not-so little project, with a big dream, would turn out to be so successful and loved by so many people. As with all projects, there are setbacks. Alongside our founder is his wife, a gemstone expert with a deep understanding of fine stones, and unfortunately, his brother—our late Uncle—whose passion for technology is what helped us modernise the business. After his passing in early 2025, I stepped in to continue his legacy and help guide our family business into its next chapter, our rebrand. What seemed like the next step of our evolution gave birth to Farley & Weston.
Following our rebrand to Farley & Weston, this has strengthened our commitment to you. Without you, our customers, we wouldn't have this opportunity, and it's our mission to continue to handcraft unique and special pieces that you all can enjoy. The creation of our new website is just beginning; you may notice changes as we introduce new features and improve how we serve you, but our exceptional service won't change.
That's our promise.
